Hydration Hydration Hydration!

I just updated my Nutrition page with a quick post on hydration and how I had it all wrong!!  I know their are athletes out there that think they hydrate well but maybe not as well as you may think… Take a look and enjoy!

  1. I little example of what not to do…. Wednesday afternoon we had weights and then a tough sprint set scheduled. From the time I ate lunch around 12 noon until I got to the weight room at 3PM I didn’t drink anything substantial. I realized it at weights and tried to catch up…. Well that didn’t work out to well. During the end of the sprint set around 6:30pm I was a mess. My legs were cramping up to an unmanageable level. From 3pm until the end of practice 7pm I drank over 5 bottles of fluids. I Never caught up!

    If you don’t drink at the right times during the day you will not catch up!
